Join us, August 8-10th, for our annual summer weekend Yoga retreat! Held at our new Yoga Studio, in the heart of Qualicum Beach, this 3-day retreat is a chance to learn, slow down, and deepen your Yoga practice in a supportive and inspiring environment.

RETREAT CURRICULUM

Our retreat will focus on 3 core areas of study:

Yoga Postures: Learn how to correctly practice essential Yoga postures so that you cultivate proper postural alignment for improved mobility, health & balance.

Yogic Breathing: Learn how to understand your respiration and its role in your daily life. Learn to breathe intelligently, so that you feel stronger, healthier and mentally clear.

Self-Study: Learn how to better understand yourself as a person & human being. Learn how to reflect and study your patterns and karmas in a way that doesn’t spark anxiety or shame, but rather inspires you, so you can promote and excel in finding peace, happiness and mental strength throughout your day.

Through a rich blend of Satsang (discussion & Q&A on Yoga), correction & refinement within guided practices, and reflective talks on Yoga, we’ll explore how to effectively ‘Live Yoga off the Mat.’ Yoga can support you in achieving a more balanced and fulfilling life. Whether you’re looking to deepen your existing practice or learning to connect with your truest self, this retreat is an opportunity to achieve a more balanced & fulfilling life.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE

We’re gathering at Yoga Grace from 5-8 pm on Friday, from 12-4 pm on Saturday and 12-5 pm on Sunday. Here’s how our weekend Yoga retreat will unfold:

 
 

FRI, AUG 8 | 5-8 PM | 3HRS

  • Opening Talk

  • Complete Yoga Practice: Philosophical reflection, Gentle Asana, Pranayama and Meditation practice.

  • Yoga Talk Q&A: We’ll open the retreat with a interactive discussion addressing many of the personal questions you have about Living Yoga.

  • Closing Reflection

SAT, AUG 9 | 12-4 PM | 4HRS

  • Yoga Posture Workshop: Engel & Teresa will demonstrate and help you perform & understand important Yoga postures.

  • Break (time for integration & reflection)

  • Yoga Talk: In an interactive discussion, we will cover the What, Why, When and How of Living Yoga.

  • Closing Reflection

SUN, AUG 10 | 12-5 PM | 5HRS

  • Complete Yoga Practice: Philosophical reflection, Gentle Asana, Pranayama and Meditation practice.

  • Break (time for integration & reflection)

  • Yoga Talk: In this powerful talk, we will cover how to study yourself, your habits and your karma in a way that sparks a huge growth in consciousness.

  • Closing Reflection

 
 

*Each practice will be all-levels, including supportive adjustments and posture clinics so you can learn to make Yoga work for you and your unique body. Those with an advanced practice will also be supported and beneficially challenged, so they can find a new and refined meaning to their understanding of Yoga.

  • Everyone! Whether you’re new to Yoga, an experienced student or even a teacher of Yoga, this weekend will share both knowledge and practical experience on using Yoga as a tool for better living.

  • This weekend event will be held at Yoga Grace Yoga Studio in Qualicum Beach. Our NEW address is 184 A W Second Ave, Qualicum.

  • We recommend bringing comfortable clothing, a notebook, pen & water/healthy lunch/snacks. Yoga props and mats will be provided.

  • No, this retreat doesn’t include accommodation for out-of-town visitors. Message us for some recommended AirBnBs and camping options.

  • We recommend Better U Market, Naked Naturals, French Press Coffee Roasters, Courtyard Cafe and De’lile in Qualicum Beach. You can also pack your own food and bring it with you!
