This 5-week class series has been designed to take any worry or stress out of your first experience with Hatha yoga and to make your introduction to this practice an enjoyable and healthy one!
In this class series, you’ll learn a little bit about what Yoga is, where it came from, and how it can be a beautiful addition to your life. You will experience how the mind, body and breath work together to form your Yoga practice and what positive benefits it can offer you. We’ll cover basic postures and breathing techniques that you’ll commonly see in our classes, as well as how to use props to support your body within your practice. We’ll also leave lots of time for questions and exploration as we move through our classes together. By the end of our 5-week series, you should feel confident enough to attend many of our regular classes at Yoga Grace on your own!
Who is this class series for? This series is for absolute beginners to Yoga as well as students who are somewhat new to the practice and would like a deeper introduction.
What to bring: Comfortable clothing, a water bottle, a Yoga mat (we also have mats to borrow if you don’t have one). *All props will be provided by the studio.
Class dates/times: Saturday afternoons from 12:00 - 1:15 pm (Saturday, January 12th - Saturday, February 9th, 2019).
